JOB SUMMARY
Follows Injection Molding procedures to run parts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up of equipment; chiller, thermolator and dryer.
- Load program into Injection Molding machine.
- Regrind appropriate material.
- Complete paperwork according to instructions.
- Number billets, inspect parts and label per instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift.
SUPERVISION
- Works under close supervision following detailed instructions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have clear understanding of basic math and have the ability to read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operations instructions)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS
- Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
- Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time.
- May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
