CD&H, Inc in El Dorado, KS, is currently seeking a Fabrication Shop Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in the metal fabrication industry, and the ability to manage a team of skilled workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop
- Supervise and schedule a team of fabricators and welders
- Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety regulations
- Train new employees on proper fabrication techniques and equipment operation
- Order materials and supplies as needed
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of weld techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
