Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job plans
- Perform layout, rough-in, and final installation of piping, fixtures, and equipment
- Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision
- Test, inspect, and certify backflow prevention devices in accordance with applicable codes
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades as needed
- Track materials and report job progress accurately
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License (state or local as required)
- Backflow Prevention Tester Certification (required)
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in physically demanding environments
- Contractor’s License (or actively working toward obtaining one)
- Experience leading small crews or overseeing projects
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial systems
- Active construction and industrial job sites
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical demands
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working in tight or elevated spaces
- Show up prepared with required tools and PPE
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
