At CCXpress, we proudly support those who have served our country. Military veterans who possess a current Class A CDL who have at least two years of recent Class A driving experience will receive an additional $0.02 per mile, bringing your starting pay to $0.62 per mile for regional Arizona–California routes. All other routes over 600 miles we add another $.03 per mile to $0.65 per mile.
Compensation
- Military Veterans: Starting at $0.62 CPM
- All Other Drivers: $0.60–$0.65 CPM, based on experience and qualifications
- Activity pay duties:
- $26.00–$28.00 per hour for eligible on-duty activities
- Weekly pay
- Average weekly gross earnings: $1,400–$2,000
Position Overview
CCXpress is seeking experienced, safety-focused Class A CDL drivers to join our growing regional fleet. We operate newer equipment and provide consistent freight between Arizona and California. Our drivers enjoy predictable schedules, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work for a company that values professionalism, reliability, and customer service.
Schedule
- Home every other night
- Regional Arizona and California routes
- Weekend work required as needed
- Average 50–60 hours per week
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of recent verifiable Class A driving experience
- At least 25 years of age
- Clean driving record with:
- No DUI convictions within the past five years
- No preventable (at-fault) accidents within the past five years
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Willingness to travel overnight between Arizona and California
- Must be able to work weekends as business demands
