CNC Machinist - Mills (Levels 2-3)

CNC MILL MACHINIST – LEVELS 2–3

CCT Precision Machining is hiring experienced CNC Mill Machinists for our facility in Grapevine, Texas. We are seeking Level 2 machinists and Level 3 setup machinists who can work safely, independently, and consistently produce quality parts.

LEVEL 2 – CNC MILL MACHINIST

• Set up and operate CNC vertical mills

• Read and interpret blueprints and basic GD&T

• Set tools and make tool-offset adjustments

• Make minor CNC program edits

• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment

• Troubleshoot basic machining and quality issues

• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation

LEVEL 3 – CNC MILL SETUP MACHINIST

• Independently complete CNC mill setups from start to finish

• Select tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds

• Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T

• Make CNC program edits and troubleshoot machining processes

• Manufacture close-tolerance parts while maintaining quality and efficiency

• Identify and correct tooling, setup, and process issues

• Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced machinists

• Multi-axis or five-axis machining experience is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous CNC mill setup and operating experience

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Commitment to safety, quality, and following procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or close-tolerance machining experience is a plus

• Experience machining engineered plastics and non-ferrous metals is a plus
