Your impact

• Own complete setups on established CNC milling jobs—fixturing, tooling, holders, probes, and workholding.
• Translate blueprints, setup sheets, travelers, and instructions into a stable, repeatable process.
• Set tool lengths; establish work and fixture offsets; make minor edits to stabilize the cut.
• Confirm a compliant first article before releasing the run; keep efficiency high and scrap low.
• Monitor machine behavior and quickly troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, and process issues.
• Document work accurately; follow ISO/IATF procedures and inspection standards.
• Collaborate across production and quality; mentor less experienced operators and setup techs.
• Champion continuous improvement to reduce downtime and raise throughput.

What this role is vs. isn’t

• Is: Independent CNC milling setups; problem‑solving and support for operators; delivering precision parts to spec.
• Is not: Entry‑level operations; programming‑only; push‑button production.

Safety & housekeeping

• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace; follow safe machining practices.
• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately; know machine E‑stop procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years setting up CNC mills independently.
• Blueprint interpretation; experience with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong grasp of tooling, offsets, and speeds & feeds; capable of minor program edits.
• Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, reliable transportation, and dependable attendance.
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

• Experience on vertical and multi‑axis machining centers.
• Fanuc or Haas control familiarity.
• High‑volume production machining exposure.
• JobBOSS or similar system experience; lean/continuous improvement knowledge.

• $23–$26 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Full‑Time
• 2nd Shift
• Monday–Thursday
• Four 10‑Hour Shifts
• Three‑Day Weekend Every Week

Physical requirements

• Stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity; ability to sustain focus during repetitive precision work.

Additional Requirements

Due to CCT Enterprises' federal firearms license (FFL) and company hiring standards, applicants must not have any felony convictions, pending felony charges, or other disqualifying criminal history.
