Job Title: General Manager (Reports to the Board of Directors)
Company Basic Information
Cheshire County Shooting Sports is located at and runs the Ferry Brook Range in Keene NH. This is a shooting range that maintains facilities for shooting sports associated with rifles, pistols, shotguns, and archery. It is primarily a volunteer run 501.c.3 organization with a paid, part-time General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Role Summary:
This is a part-time position focused on day-to-day management of the range including:
· Financial responsibilities (AP/AR/payroll/banking), insurance and local / state/ federal filings
· Marketing and membership management
· Managing facilities upkeep
· Calendar management
· Event / Training support
· Raffle twice / year
· Website maintenance
· Maintenance of corporate documents
Qualifications include:
· Passionate about the shooting sports, actively participating in one of the shooting disciplines
· Business management experience
· Likes to work with people (almost 900 members)
· Good organizational skills and comfortable in a non-corporate, unstructured environment
· Good “basic” skills with Microsoft Word, Excel
· Should be comfortable using programs like Airtable, Dropbox, Webmail, MailChimp, CellGate, Banking System, and Interaction with the accountant on QuickBooks
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
