GIS Analyst

Job Title: GIS Analyst

Location: Detroit Metro and Ypsilanti - MI

Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Onsite

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension or hire

Contract/Perm: Contract

Mandatory Skills:

1. Five years as a GIS Analyst working with ESRI Product suite.
2. Three years working with Geodatabase management procedures and relational databases.
3. Three 3 years working with Autodesk’s AutoCAD, BIM, and the conversion into GIS
4. Education Requirement: B.S. in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Preform analytical and geoprocessing functions to create, maintain and retrieve data.
• Monitor GIS environment – GIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Online, and SQL database.
• Utilize ArcGIS software to develop solutions that enhance existing or future GIS projects.
• Evaluate business requirements and providing guidance/solutions accordingly.
• Develop geographic databases, including designs and models.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts (including SQL DB).
• Assist with field data collection using ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS Experience Builder.
• Assist with training and technical support of end users and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

1. Certificate and/or Licenses: Geographic Information Science Certificate or equivalent.
2. General knowledge of Asset Management System (Maximo).
3. Experience with interior building mapping.
4. Experience with 3D GIS software (ArcScene).
5. Experience with GIS programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL).
6. Experience with Azure DevOps, and Git
