Location: Prosper Medical Office Building Department: Cln-Plastics Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting the patients and establishing a friendly and positive in-take and check out encounter for each patient’s visit requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changes in both staffing levels and patient volumes. The receptionist is responsible for maintaining patient flow, answering phones promptly and courteously, scheduling, registering, billing and payment collection activities for clinic patients while following all applicable policies and procedures. They will successfully learn and understand diversified insurance plans and medical terminology. Education & Experience: High School graduate or equivalent required. Customer service experience required. Epic and EMR experience preferred. Specialty Clinic experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills.
