Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Pharmacy Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 8 Summary: The Cook Children’s Pharmacy Internship provides employment designed to give the pharmacy student practical experience in a pediatric hospital pharmacy's operations and clinical services. The position will assist the pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and the community we serve. Clerical tasks will encompass the process of recording, filling, and reporting pharmacy activities and services. The technical and clinical tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist across inpatient and outpatient settings, including central operations, retail, Emergency Department, and critical care units. Qualifications: Completion of bachelor’s degree or 2 years of required prerequisite undergraduate coursework and enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy. The scope of participation in the various activities and experiences described above is contingent upon previous pharmacy experience, level of professional education, and demonstration of skill.
