DEPARTMENT: Environmental Services
HOURS: 80 hours per pay period/Non-Exempt (3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.)
Rotating Weekends and Holidays

HOURLY WAGE: $18.90 - $28.58
General Responsibilities
The EVS Technician is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role ensures timely room turns while adhering to the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. As an essential contributor to cleaning and infection control, the Environmental Services Technician also plays a key role in enhancing the patient and visitor experience by providing exceptional customer service and fostering a compassionate, hospitable atmosphere in accordance with organizational standards of quality.
Preferred Education/Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skill(s)
Strong attention to detail to ensure neat, organized and appropriate appearance of assigned areas. Ability to incorporate the values of dignity, hospitality, service, and excellence in daily work. Valid Minnesota Driver’s License. Travel required to branch clinics and Wellness Center.
Experience
Experience in Environmental Services, housekeeping, or janitorial/custodial work in healthcare setting preferred.
