We are hiring an Operations Manager – Gravure & Flexographic Printing to oversee production across both print technologies. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance while ensuring on‑time delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations for gravure and flexo presses
• Oversee workflow from prepress (cylinders, plates, anilox, ink prep) through finishing
• Monitor OEE, waste, downtime, and throughput
• Lead troubleshooting for color, registration, ink transfer, drying/curing, and substrate issues
• Ensure compliance with ISO/GMP and customer specifications
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Develop and mentor operators, plate mounters, and support staff
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and R&D on trials and new products
Skills & Qualifications:
• 5 years in gravure, flexo, or related printing operations
• 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong technical knowledge of gravure cylinders, flexo anilox/plates, ink systems, and tension control
• Experience with color management and viscosity control
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems preferred
• Lean/CI certifications a plus
