Client: State of Arkansas - Onsite • Local Arkansas Candidates Only -777672

We are urgently seeking a SQL Database Developer with extensive MS Access and SQL Server experience to help stabilize the current production Access/SQL environment and produce thorough documentation to ensure smooth, reliable daily operations.


MANDATORY – MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (5 Years):

  • Strong MS Access Development background
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • Experience with ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)
  • Skilled in MS Access SQL and Query Design
  • Hands-on experience splitting MS Access Databases (Front-End / Back-End architecture)
  • Ability to translate business logic from Access macros, modules, and queries into SQL
  • Experience writing stored procedures, PL/SQL, and migrating tables from MS Access to SQL Server
  • Experience converting MS Access Forms/Reports into a web-based application
  • Experience with QuickBase Rapid Application Development Platform
  • State government experience preferred
