**2nd round interview MUST be ON-SITE and resource must be ON-SITE from day one
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of six years of professional experience as a project manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members
- Advanced experience managing Agile projects (6 years)
- Advanced experience managing scope, schedule, and project budget (6 years)
- Advanced experience with vendor management (6 years)
- Experience writing or participating in development of Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) or contracts (6 years)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills (6 years)
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree: An official or unofficial college transcript OR diploma must be attached as a separate document to verify educational qualifications relevant to the position
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a PMP Certification
This position provides oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic and complex projects supporting Department of Information, Technology, and Budget (DTMB-MB) with high visibility at the Agency Executive level. These projects typically have a large diverse set of stakeholders, utilize vendor participation, require coordination of multiple stakeholders, complex schedules, and significant integration with other systems.
Advanced experience managing complex projects, a significant degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Assignment duration: 1 year with possible extension
Position location: Lansing, MI (HYBRID: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week)
