We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to provide high-quality, as-needed graphic design services. This role will be responsible for creating a wide range of print and digital materials, including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, flyers, banners, signage, and social media graphics. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative design skills and experience in both digital and print media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce bilingual (English/Spanish) publications such as newsletters, parks and recreation guides, and more.
- Create social media graphics, ads, flyers, signage, and interactive PDFs.
- Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards for digital content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to finalize layouts and incorporate content edits.
- Provide print-ready and web-optimized files for production.
- Enhance existing templates and provide recommendations for creative improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a graphic designer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
- Experience in print and digital publication design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with GIS/Map design.
- Knowledge of brand guidelines and experience working with bilingual content.
