WE ARE HIRING for State of South Carolina DSS - AWS Developer/Administrator -W2 Only - Role is 100% remote but may transition to Hybrid
The project supports the design, development, administration, and ongoing operation of
AWS-hosted applications, infrastructure, and services. The AWS Developer /Administrator will be responsible for supporting cloud-native and hybrid workloads, ensuring secure and compliant operations, and enabling scalable solutions across multiple AWS services
Required Skills:
6 years of experience supporting enterprise systems
3 years of hands-on AWS experience in development or administration
3 years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda)
3 years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
3 years of experience integrating APIs, serverless functions, and cloud-native services
3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
3 years of experience with security best practices, logging, and monitoring in AWS
3 years of experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
Preferred Skills
Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering
Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations
Experience with cost optimization and FinOps
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
