We are looking for an experienced NG911 / ESInet & Emergency Communications Consultant for an upcoming public safety technology consulting opportunity.
This role will support advisory, procurement review, implementation oversight, and acceptance testing activities related to Next Generation 9-1-1 and emergency communications infrastructure.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of experience with 9-1-1, NG911, ESInet, emergency dispatch, or public safety communications systems
- Strong understanding of NG911-compliant call-handling equipment and supporting infrastructure
- Familiarity with NENA i3 standards, APCO standards, FCC requirements, and emergency communications best practices
- Experience reviewing technical specifications, vendor proposals, implementation plans, and system requirements
- Ability to support acceptance testing criteria, system validation, and technical recommendations
- Prior consulting or advisory work for counties, municipalities, regional authorities, or emergency communications agencies preferred
