Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate to join our team. Someone who is looking for long-term is preferred. As a key member of our environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant café experience. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position will include operating the register, preparing espresso beverages, and selling bakery items, ice cream, and confections. Regular cleaning is required as well. Our location offers chocolates, breakfast and Lunch, coffee, bakery, and ice cream. We are not looking for kitchen help at this time.
Our business hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, and Saturdays, 8 am to 3 pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
We are looking for someone who can work at least 11:00 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday through Friday, as well as rotating Saturdays. Saturday rotation is mandatory.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
- Maintain knowledge of current products to communicate with customers effectively.
- Make and serve coffee-based beverages.
- Serve several types of food items, including bakery, chocolates, desserts, ice cream, and food.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Experience in cash handling and familiarity with cash register operations.
