Role: Battery Production Engineer
Liberty, NC - Onsite
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field with 5 years of equivalent work experience in an engineering role
- Experience with production preparation of Battery manufacturing equipment, including procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials and launch -3 years Required, 5 years Preferred
- Experience creating process plans and machine specifications using lean manufacturing principles
- Experience leading capital projects, including creating and maintaining detailed schedules, budgetary control, and KPI-based progress reporting -3 years Required, 5 years Preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo or similar, including the ability to read and interpret and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or above)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (intermediate or above)
- Ability to business travel, both domestic and international 25%, up to 50% during peak times
- Ability to work weekends and shutdowns such as July and December
