Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for efficiently receiving and inspecting incoming materials, ensuring all items meet quality standards, and accurately loading and unloading trucks. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. This position is also tasked with delivering orders to customers using the company truck, ensuring prompt and professional service. Additionally, the position manages counter sales and will call orders, providing exceptional customer service at the counter. Inventory management is a key responsibility, including maintaining organized stock and conducting regular checks. Adherence to safety protocols is essential to maintain a safe working environment, and this role is expected to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Some kit assembling may be required.
Qualifications:Requirements:
- Warehouse / Distribution experience is a plus.
- Must have a stable work history, no more than two jobs within the past three years.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Accurately perform assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
Critical Skills:
- Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced shipping and receiving department
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work cross dock operations
- Ability to load and unload trucks (lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis)
- Proficiency / Ability to learn computer-based shipping and receiving programs, prior experience preferred
- Willingness to learn other areas as required
- Works well, both individually and in team environment
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Safety focused

Working Environment:
- The Warehouse Associate performs duties in a warehouse setting where the temperature may vary and be higher or lower than a normal indoor temperature. This position requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting. The duties of this position are repetitive in nature. There is occasional use of a keyboard and computer monitor. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally.
