Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location: Novi/Livonia, MI
Overview:
CBS Global USA Inc. is seeking a driven and resourceful Business Development Representative to accelerate revenue growth across our warehousing, logistics, and value-added service offerings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can open doors with new customers, and is comfortable operating across both sales and operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in warehousing, storage, and logistics services
- Build and maintain relationships with automotive and manufacturing suppliers, as well as aftermarket distribution channels
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach, networking, and industry engagement
- Develop proposals, pricing models, and service solutions tailored to customer needs
- Collaborate with operations to ensure successful onboarding and execution of new business
- Support growth initiatives in automation, robotics, and advanced warehouse solutions where applicable
- Travel as needed (approximately 20–25%) for customer visits and project support
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments strongly preferred
- Exposure to warehouse automation, robotics, or material handling systems is a significant plus
- Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
