Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Quality Control Engineer based in Portsmouth Virginia. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality management programs, conducting quality assurance evaluations, monitoring project processes, and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures. Daily tasks include performing inspections, analyzing quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, prepare detailed reports, and present findings
- Knowledge of Quality Management practices and ability to oversee the implementation of improvement plans
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Associate degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience in the government or defense sectors is a plus
Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
