What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pavement Maintenance Specialist position at CBRE Government & Defense Services?
Job Summary:
Performs maintenance, repair and installation of both rigid and flexible pavements, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, storm water drainage systems and chain link fences.
Primary Job Functions:
Performs all other duties as assigned to satisfy the operational requirements of the contract.
Education, Experience and Certification:
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required: Class B Florida Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
Required: Flight Line Driving Permit Certification (to be obtained upon hiring)
Required: National Agency Check Clerance Certification
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, and inclement weather conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft surfaces, pavement structures and surfaces at variable heights.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Demonstrated ability to competently perform operational responsibilities of position.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand American English.
- Team Player- ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
- Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings.
