Tower Climber

Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a fast-growing Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) bringing affordable, high-speed internet to communities across Buffalo NY. We’re building the infrastructure that connects people, and we need experienced leaders in the field to make it happen.

Responsibilities

• Lead POP site and wireless infrastructure construction.
• Install and align wireless radios and related equipment.
• Perform basic civil construction (run conduit, concrete pads, trenching, grounding, utility coordination).
• Ensure projects meet safety, code, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors to complete projects on time.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified Tower Climber (required).
• 2 years of telecom or utility construction experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience installing and aligning wireless radios.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, drawings, and engineering diagrams.
• Physically able to lift 75 lbs., climb towers/ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
