Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) committed to delivering affordable, high-speed internet to underserved communities. We partner with municipalities, community organizations, and funding agencies to bridge the digital divide. As we expand our broadband infrastructure in Long Island, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our efforts.

Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of broadband infrastructure projects, including planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and municipal agencies to align project activities and quickly resolve issues
- Monitor progress against milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Lead regular project meetings, providing updates to leadership, stakeholders, and funding agencies
- Review and approve contracts, change orders, invoices, and other project documentation
- Prepare detailed status reports and compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, agencies, and residents to support project success
Skills
- 3–5 years of project management experience (construction, telecom, or broadband preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) a plus
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
The Procurement & Inventory Manager will work closely with engineering, project management, construction teams, vendors, and internal departments to manage the procurement lifecycle from initial material identification through delivery and staging. The role requires the ability to review engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirm quantities and specifications, source materials through appropriate vendors, place purchase orders, and track shipments to ensure materials arrive at the correct locations in alignment with deployment timelines.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
