Job Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Service Mapping Consultant to support a large-scale data center co-location and migration initiative. This role focuses on enhancing Service Mapping, Discovery, and CMDB accuracy within a hybrid IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ServiceNow Service Mapping (maps, patterns, dependencies)
Design and configure custom patterns, probes, and sensors
Utilize ServiceNow Discovery for automated infrastructure identification
Ensure CMDB alignment with CSDM framework
Maintain high data integrity and relationship accuracy within CMDB
Collaborate with application, infra, and business teams for service definition
Integrate service mapping with Incident, Change, and Problem Management
Troubleshoot mapping, discovery, and CMDB-related issues
Required Skills
Strong experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping & Discovery
Hands-on with CMDB & CSDM framework
Experience creating patterns, probes, sensors
Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem)
Experience in data center migration / hybrid environments
Strong stakeholder communication skills
