Job Overview:
Final round of Interview will be a In-Person round
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to support a large-scale Data Center Colocation and Migration Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and migrating middleware components while ensuring seamless integration, performance, and system stability across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory of existing middleware components including IBM Integration Bus (IIB), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Apache, IBM DataPower, and IBM MQ
- Identify dependencies and integrations with upstream and downstream systems to ensure smooth migration planning
- Configure and manage certificates, queues, endpoints, and policies across middleware platforms
- Perform end-to-end testing and validation to ensure performance, availability, and resilience
- Monitor system health using logs and monitoring tools; perform troubleshooting as needed
- Support migration and cutover activities including DNS updates, configuration changes, service restarts, and post-migration validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and transition
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Middleware Technologies (IIB, ACE, MQ, DataPower)
- Experience with Apache server configuration and administration
- Solid understanding of middleware architecture, integration patterns, and messaging systems
- Experience in data center migration or infrastructure transformation projects
- Knowledge of certificates, security protocols, and network configurations
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Candidates local to NY/NJ or nearby states preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a hybrid onsite model
