is assisting their valued Financial Services client in Monmouth County in their search for a detail-oriented Tax Staff to join their dynamic team The Tax Staff is responsible for preparing tax documents, updating financial records, and supporting daily accounting functions. This role ensures accurate transaction posting and provides client support on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Post and categorize transactions
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare budgets and expense reports
- Support audits and month/year-end closings
- Advise clients on tax and financial issues
- Ensure compliance with current regulations
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Enrolled Agent or CPA a plus
- 1-2 years' tax preparation experience
- Proficient with tax software and relevant laws
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented; able to work well under pressure
