CBIZ Talent Solutions has been engaged by a New York City–based construction client to identify an Administrative Assistant.
Administrative Assistant (Bronx, On‐Site)
Position summary
Support a fast‐paced utility operations team in the Bronx while coordinating with field crews across NYC. Responsibilities include scheduling, permit coordination, documentation control, and facilitating clear communication between office and field.
Key responsibilities (short list)
- Prepare and distribute daily work routes and job packets for field crews.
- Coordinate crew assignments, locations, and work orders for active projects.
- Manage permits (requests, renewals, close‐outs) and compliance documentation.
- Maintain project logs and documentation systems; support managers with data entry and follow‐ups.
Qualifications (short list)
- 1–3 years of administrative experience; construction/utilities experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; construction software a plus.
- Clear, professional communicator with office and field stakeholders.
- Ability to work on‐site daily in the Bronx.
Compensation
- Salary range: $55,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
