What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic - VCI position at CBH Homes?
Maintenance Mechanic/Technician is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance repairs of machinery and mechanical equipment. Maintain safety of machinery by performing routine inspections and risk assessment of maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on systems, machinery and equipment.
- Provide maintenance support for shift operations, including but not limited to repairs and preventative maintenance for forklifts, saws and production tables.
- Perform electrical tasks as needed
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify & report the need for major repairs
- 1 years’ experience in maintenance preferred
- Must have welding experience
- Electrical Knowledge preferred.
- Must know how to operate a fork lift
REQUIRED EXPIERIENCE
- Good written and oral communication skills are required.
- Ability to read, understands, and follows oral and written instructions.
- Ability to deal courteously with customers, co-workers, and construction personnel.
