Position Summary
Cayman Construction LLC is hiring a full-time Roofing Sales Representative to sell residential roofing replacement and repair projects across Southeast Louisiana. This is an outside sales role: you'll inspect storm-damaged roofs, write estimates, present proposals, and close deals — working a mix of company-provided leads/appointments and your own canvassing and referral network. Prior experience selling roofing or exterior construction services is required.
Responsibilities
- Canvass storm-affected neighborhoods to generate new roofing leads, in addition to running appointments the company provides
- Perform thorough roof inspections, documenting damage with photos and notes for estimates and insurance claims
- Educate homeowners on roofing systems, materials, and the insurance restoration process
- Prepare and present accurate estimates and sales proposals on-site
- Assist homeowners through the insurance claims process, including meeting adjusters on-site when needed
- Close sales and convert signed contracts into scheduled production
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in the company's CRM
- Follow up promptly with leads, referrals, and past customers
- Coordinate handoffs with the production and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Represent Cayman Construction LLC professionally in the field at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior sales experience in roofing, exterior remodeling, or construction is required
- Working knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation basics
- Comfort with the property insurance claims process (filing, adjuster meetings, scope negotiation) is a strong plus
- Ability to climb ladders and safely walk residential roofs to conduct inspections
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, including heat and after-storm conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable generating your own leads through canvassing and referrals
- Basic computer/smartphone proficiency for CRM, estimating, and photo documentation
- Ability to pass a background check

Work Area & Schedule
This role covers the 504 (Greater New Orleans — Orleans and Jefferson Parishes) and 985 (Southeast Louisiana bayou parishes, including St. Mary, Plaquemines, Lafourche, and Terrebonne) area codes, with possible expansion into the 225 area code (Baton Rouge region) as opportunities develop. This is a full-time, field-based position requiring daily local travel to customer homes throughout the territory.
Pay: $68,748.52 - $82,793.91 per year
