Position Summary
The Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of materials while providing outstanding customer service. When not making deliveries, this position assists with warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, loading, unloading, and order fulfillment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company truck to deliver and pick up materials.
- Learn and efficiently navigate delivery routes and customer locations.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at every stop.
- Follow and enforce the company's no riders policy.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Verify and accurately deliver materials to customers.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, pulling orders, and loading/unloading trucks.
- Support warehouse operations when not scheduled for deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Keep a valid driver's license that remains insurable under company insurance requirements.
- Qualify for and maintain compliance with all applicable DOT and/or CDL regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid, insurable driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to frequently climb in and out of truck cabs and beds.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, lift, pull, and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Steel-toe safety footwear required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
