Qualifications: Vermont Principal licensure or eligibility for Vermont principal licensure required Significant experience as an elementary classroom teacher and educational leader Strong knowledge of: Data-driven instructional practices Personalized and proficiency-based learning Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Trauma-informed and restorative practices School improvement planning and implementation Demonstrated ability to foster positive school culture and collaborative relationships Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Position Goal: The Principal serves as the chief administrator of the school and is responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets that support the educational growth of all students and the professional growth of staff members. The Principal also collaborates in the implementation of district-wide initiatives and priorities.
