Role Description The Housing Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bryan, TX. The Housing Consultant will guide customers through the entire home-buying process, including assessing housing needs, presenting suitable home options, and explaining pricing, financing, and customization details. This role involves meeting with walk-in and scheduled clients, conducting home tours, preparing quotes, and managing sales contracts and paperwork. The Housing Consultant will maintain product knowledge, keep the showroom organized, and collaborate with the sales and management team to meet sales goals. The role also includes following up with prospective buyers, building long-term relationships, and representing Cavco Homes professionally in the local community.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and guide customers through closing.
- Knowledge of Real Estate and Affordable Housing, including home financing options and basic regulatory considerations.
- Ability to use Social Media to promote inventory, engage with potential buyers, and support local marketing efforts.
- Effective communication, active listening, and customer service skills, with a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software for managing leads, documentation, and follow-up.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism in representing the brand on-site with customers and partners.
- Prior experience in home sales, real estate, manufactured housing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work on-site in Bryan, TX, including some evenings or weekends as business needs require.
