Senior Manager, Off-Premises Operations


The Senior Manager, Off-Premises Operations owns how catering, digital pickup, and delivery are executed within CAVA restaurants. This role is responsible for building scalable systems, workflows, and guardrails that enable Off-Premises growth while maintaining operational excellence and a high-quality guest experience.


Serving as the primary voice of the restaurant, this leader ensures all Off-Premises initiatives are feasible, repeatable, and effective at scale. Reports to the VP, Off-Premise & Catering.



What You’ll Do


Operational Model & System Design

  • Build and continuously improve a scalable in-restaurant operating model for catering, pickup, and delivery.
  • Define workflows, SOPs, and standards for order management, preparation, staging, and handoff.
  • Identify and implement required tools, equipment, and system capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of off-premises fulfillment into restaurant operations.


Capacity Management & Execution Excellence

  • Evaluate new initiatives and set clear operational guardrails for execution at scale.
  • Define and manage capacity strategies, including order throttling and demand pacing.
  • Balance growth with operational constraints to protect restaurant performance.
  • Monitor execution across locations, driving improvements in speed, accuracy, and consistency.


Field Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Field Operations and Learning & Development to support rollout, training, and adoption.
  • Serve as the primary operations partner across Catering, Off-Premises, Technology, and other teams.
  • Lead testing and pilots to validate operational models before scaling.


Feedback & Performance Monitoring

  • Act as the voice of the restaurant, surfacing key insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor execution performance across locations, including accuracy, speed, and consistency.
  • Partner with field teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.



Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in multi-unit or high-volume environments.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of throughput, labor, and in-restaurant execution dynamics.
  • Experience with POS systems, digital ordering platforms, and third-party delivery integrations.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and field rollouts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance operational realities with business growth objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
