- Must have CA bar license.
Role Description
- Full-time, hybrid in-office/at home; 3 days in office preferred but negotiable.
- Handle and assist with all aspects of civil litigation – direct client contact, preparing case evaluations, drafting and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, legal research, drafting and arguing various motions including dispositive motions, mediations, trials, writing appellate briefs and arguing appeals, and handling other day-to-day tasks required of litigation files.
- Minimum billable requirement is 1750 hours per year.
Qualifications
- Must have an active license with the California State Bar (no exceptions)
- Excellent brief writing skills
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience arguing motions in court a plus
- Trial experience a plus
- Appellate experience a plus
