Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Organize and restock clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required by cooks or chefs.
- Ensure that all food handling and safety regulations are followed diligently.
- Dispose of trash and waste materials in accordance with health standards.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain overall kitchen hygiene.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is an asset.
