Duties

• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to showcase benefits effectively.
• Assist customers with product selection, upselling additional items to enhance their experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments.
• Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities to attract customer attention.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and properly labeled in accordance with store standards.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment.
• Assist in training new team members or supervising junior staff as needed, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Uphold store policies on customer service, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math is advantageous.
• Experience conducting product demos or upselling can help you excel in this role.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling you to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are vital for engaging with customers professionally.
• Supervising experience or leadership roles in retail or grocery stores will support your success in guiding team efforts.
