We are seeking a proactive and organized Part-Time Assistant Manager to support daily operations and ensure excellent customer service within our retail environment. Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Support employee orientation, training, and development initiatives
• Help manage inventory control, stocking, and merchandising to optimize sales
• Oversee POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures with accuracy
• Participate in recruiting efforts by interviewing potential candidates and onboarding new employees
• Assist with scheduling shifts and managing team assignments to ensure smooth workflow
• Support marketing activities and promotional displays to enhance store visibility
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Contribute to budgeting, sales management, and pricing strategies to meet store goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Proven experience in retail management, supervising teams, or assistant management roles
• Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative tasks
• Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing and sales analysis
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and employee orientation
• Knowledge of merchandising, stock replenishment, and marketing strategies
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques, customer service excellence, and shift management practices
• Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff and manage store operations seamlessly
