What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Cato Corporation?
Cato Fashions is hiring a full time or part time assistant manager. Must have open availability and work weekends.
Managers must be able to open and close the store, perform markdowns, receive and process shipment, merchandise and customer service. Support the store manager with day-to-day operations, such as:
- Customer service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and advising on products
- Staffing: Training employees on sales techniques and product knowledge, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Store operations: Ensuring the store runs smoothly when the manager is absent, and conducting regular audits
- Administrative: Following policies and procedures, and completing necessary paperwork
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
