Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Drug & Alcohol Counselor to join our dynamic team at a women’s 1/2 house supporting individuals in recovery. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about behavioral health, drama-informed care, and helping women build stable, sober lives.
Position Summary:
The Counselor will provide direct clinical support to residents through individual and group counseling, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in behavioral health and / or substance use treatment
- CADC/CAADC certification or actively working towards credentialing
- Ability to obtain all Pennsylvania clearances:
- Criminal Background Check
- Teamwork and professional communication
- Group facilitation
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate substance use and recovery-focused group
- Provide individual counseling and case management
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with program staff and external providers
- Support residents in treatment planning, life skills, and relapse prevention

Pay: $19.00 - $25.52 per hour
