Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Counselor, based in Latrobe, PA, with some flexibility to work from home. The Counselor will provide individual therapy to clients of various ages, using evidence-based approaches tailored to their needs. Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, maintaining detailed and compliant documentation, and collaborating with clients to promote positive mental health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and therapy skills, with the ability to adapt techniques to meet client needs
- Experience conducting assessments and creating tailored treatment plans
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and professional documentation
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with behavioral health and mental wellness resources and strategies
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Relevant licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is required
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Experience working with clients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds is a plus
