Job Title: Product Assembly & Warehouse Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Assembly and Warehouse Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, performing product quality checks, and managing shipping, packaging, and inventory activities to meet company production standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality protocols, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. The technician supports both production and logistics operations, occasionally assisting with field product support or testing as needed to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Cathtect USA products. Success in this role requires self-motivation, accountability, and a commitment to advancing Cathtect USA’s mission, values, and long-term business objectives.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
1. Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to schematics, SOPs, and safety standards.
2. Conduct product inspections and quality control tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
3. Operate hand and power tools safely, including soldering irons, drills, and crimpers.
4. Maintain accurate production and assembly records in line with company documentation protocols.
5. Package finished products securely and prepare shipments for UPS or freight delivery.
6. Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and inventory.
7. Support inventory cycle counts, stock rotation, and warehouse organization.
8. Assist with field product support and testing as needed (up to 30% travel).
9. Report any defects, discrepancies, or safety issues to management promptly.
10. Coordinate with shipping partners to arrange customer collections and deliveries.
11. Manage multiple concurrent production tasks and meet set deadlines.
12. Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: Technical certificate or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or mechanics
- Experience:
- 1–2 years in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
- Experience with hand/power tools and soldering equipment
- 6–12 months in shipping, packaging, or receiving preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and handling tools or small parts
- Manual dexterity for fine assembly and soldering work
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and noise levels
- Visual acuity for quality inspection and documentation
