Driver
Catholic Social Services (CSS) helps senior citizens and veterans in Licking County maintain their independence by providing free transportation to non-emergency medical appointments.
Location: 1031 Brice St Newark, OH 43055
Positions available: Part time (2) and Full time (1)
Key Responsibilities
- Transport clients to medical or hospital appointments including assisting clients to and from the vehicle, as needed.
- Maintain necessary training, development, and/or licensing standards as required.
- Provide to office staff:
- Report on client needs and conditions
- Keep daily log of client transport & mileage
- Prepare reports on client needs and conditions and maintain daily log of client transport.
- Vehicle fleet: ensure vehicles are clean, measuring and documenting wheelchair size for correct vehicle usage, ensuring paperwork is signed correctly by the client.
Experience
- High school or equivalent
- Two (2) years of driving experience.
- Knowledge of community resources and entitlement programs.
License
- Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
- No points on driving record
Prescreening requirements
- Pass BCI/FBI background check
- No OMVI
- Pass drug and alcohol screening
