Job Summary: The Driver/Mentor person will be responsible for transportation of youth in the program to the site and returned to a predetermined location. We are looking for motivated, driven candidates who are dependable, trustworthy, and ready to be effective in their community. Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management for maintenance issues.
- Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
- Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
Other Job Functions
- Be conversational with youth, remembering that the Driver will be an impression for the young people.
- Must maintain safe driving record and report any violations to Director immediately.
Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
- Possess geographical knowledge of service area.
- Flexibility required Nights and Weekends
- Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.
