Position: High School Biology / Non-Regents Chemistry Teacher
Moore Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and engaging educator to teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry at the high school level. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic, student-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in the sciences.
Responsibilities:
● Teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry courses
● Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
● Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
● Collaborate with faculty to support student growth and school initiatives
● Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred)
● NYS teaching certification (or working toward certification)
● Strong communication and classroom management skills
● Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
Compensation based on education and experience, preference given to candidates with advanced degrees. $55,000-65,000.
