The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx is seeking a mission-driven, practicing Catholic educator to teach a combined Grades 7 and 8 classroom. This "bridge" model requires strong differentiation skills and a commitment to meeting diverse learning needs. We are a diverse school community, and we welcome applicants of all faiths.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environment
- Teach ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies
- Differentiate instruction for two grade levels in one classroom
- Assess student progress and communicate with families
- Collaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine & values in daily teaching
Qualifications:
- Committed to Catholic education
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree and certification preferred
- Middle school teaching experience and strong classroom management skills
3–5 years of teaching experience preferred
- Ability to differentiate instruction effectively
