What You'll Do
- Emergency Care : Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care, including assessing patients, administering medications, performing advanced airway management, and using medical equipment.
- Patient Transport : Safely transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring continuous monitoring and care throughout the journey.
- Assessment and Treatment : Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses and provide appropriate treatment based on established protocols and medical guidelines.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other emergency medical personnel, including EMTs, paramedics, and hospital staff, to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
- Documentation : Accurately document patient care, treatment provided, and other relevant information in patient records and reports.
- Equipment Maintenance : Ensure that all medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stocked, and functional.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical professionals to provide information and updates regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Training and Development : Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with the latest medical practices, technologies, and emergency protocols.
What You Bring
- Certification : Current certification as a Paramedic (e.g., National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic certification).
- Experience : Relevant experience as a paramedic or in a similar emergency medical role is preferred.
- Skills : Advanced clinical skills, including proficiency in emergency medical procedures, patient assessment, and the use of medical equipment.
