Job Details
Our OR Resources Specialist will:
- Provide a variety of secretarial and clerical services for the OR department- primarily OR and Pre Surgical Testing scheduling, registering, and billing of surgical patients.
- Coordinate the scheduling of OR cases, including booking add on cases
- Sharing and communicating daily schedules to offices for confirmation
- Maintain files
- Generating weekly reports for pertinent information pertaining to booked surgical procedures
- Schedule Pre-Surgical testing appointments
- Maintain all OR statistics and reports
- Maintain files on surgeon privileges and staff skills
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment within the department
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of secretarial experience required
- 1 year of medical experience with a surgical focus preferred
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills
Salary Range
USD $26.45 - USD $30.90 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
