Job Details
Responsibilities:
Perform EEG and evoked potential studies in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment.
Identify and recognize ictal and interictal electrographic patterns across a wide range of clinical cases.
Respond confidently to clinical seizures and other medical emergencies, working alongside physicians, residents, and nursing staff.
Prepare patients for procedures by clearly explaining what to expect, positioning them comfortably, and supporting them throughout the study.
Conduct studies at the bedside or in alternate care settings using mobile EEG equipment as needed.
Maintain EEG equipment and supplies to ensure accurate results, patient safety, and high-quality data.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and contribute to a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a certified END (Electroneurodiagnostic) program required.
Strong knowledge of all phases of EEG testing, including long-term monitoring; Neuro ICU experience required.
ABRET board certified or registry-eligible preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hospital-based experience performing routine and complex EEG studies.
Comfortable working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
Salary Range
USD $35.54 - USD $35.54 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
